Although, we cannot do much about this besides taking all the safety measures like wearing a mask, social distancing, washing hands regularly, etc.but we can also focus on boosting our immunity and making our body strong enough to fight this deadly virus from within if we accidentally catch any. Also, this will be a good way to spend our free time, now that almost everyone is having this rare gem in our hands. So here are some ayurvedic remedies which will help us to stay healthy and boost our immunity during corona:
1- Turmeric - It has antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial properties. You can mix 1/3 tsp. of turmeric in hot milk and have it at night.
2 - Amla - It is rich in vitamin-c, a much-needed vitamin to reduce the immune system deficiencies. You can consume it in any form - juice, pickle, or just raw according to your taste.
3 - Meditation and sun exposure - Just 15 minutes of some breathing exercises on terrace or balcony while facing the sun in the morning, will reduce stress and anxiety, and can also take you out from depression, a very common mental illness in youngsters these days.
4 - Exercise - Just 5 min of skipping, cycling, and/or running along with some common stretching exercises are enough to give that much-needed oxygen flow to the brain which as a result releases dopamine which lifts up your mood and reduces stress.
Also, maintain a healthy and balanced diet and include seasonal fruits on a daily basis for more effectiveness.
